- English - Upper Intermediate level;
- Certificate of Competency is obligatory. For Deck Cadets: “Officer in charge of a navigation watch on ships of 500 gross tonnage and more”. For Electrician Cadets:
“Third-class electro-technical officer”
- Diploma with honours or average score is 4.5 - 5.0.
